Prayer Letter

March 2008

Dear Praying Friends,

Wow! Being out on the road for weeks at a time, is making that “time” that I wrote about in my last letter is really start to fly.

During this excursion we found ourselves in Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, and Georgia.  First we started out in Tennessee visiting the Midway Baptist Church in Louisville (Pastor Trent McKeehan) and the Fellowship Baptist Church in Maryville (Pastor Tom Hatley). Then we attended Camp Meeting Services at the Bible Baptist Church in “Beautiful” Waynesville, North Carolina (Pastor Dwight Banks). While in NC we preached Wednesday night in Mocksville for the Gospel Baptist Church (Pastor Kevin Hobson). While preaching it snowed 1 to 2 inches. My children said that I either preached way to long, or that I “preached up a storm”.

Then we “camped out” several weeks at the Blue Stone Baptist Church in Clarksville, VA.  We thank God for Pastor McGuire, and his people allowing us to use their facilities to work out of.  While in Virginia we attended:

Grace Baptist Church, Oxford, NC – Pastor Cecil Newton

Oak Park Road Baptist Church, Madison, VA – Pastor Paul Roberson

Blue Stone Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA – Pastor Ryan McGuire

New Life Baptist Church, Oxford, NC, Pastor Mike Smith

We then headed South stopping in Delco, NC at the Prosper Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Watts, on Wednesday night. Friday night found us in Live Oak, Florida sharing our burden during Jubilee Services at the Live Oak Baptist Church, Pastor Brad Bailey.

Moving North again we were with the Sylvester Road Baptist Church, Pastor Marion Atkinson, then a night of revival services in Kingston, TN pastor Jeff Plemons, before heading home on Tuesday, March 11.

During these weeks we learned that four more churches joined us with monthly support. This brings us up to the 23.5% mark. These churches are:

Blue Stone Baptist Church – Pastor Ryan McGuire

Thanks to all that are praying for us as God is continuing to open doors and meet our needs. Thanks also to the churches we have been in for allowing us to come by and for the gracious love offerings we have received. Thanks to our supporting churches for your faithfulness. Thanks to our home church for sending us to answer the call of God on our lives.
